Following things are most responsible for admission in IIM for MBA course

    >> Percentage marks of class 10th and 12th from a recognized board or CBSE
    >> Percentage marks of graduation from a recognized university or institute
    >> Percentage marks of Entrance test - CAT conducted by IIM
    >> Performance provided in the personal interview process
    >> performance provided in group discussion process
    >> Total working experience in any field in any company or organization

So you can see that percentage marks of both of these classes are also responsible for your final selection for MBA in IIM but most part of selection process depends on the percentage marks scored in CAT entrance test then only you will be decided to get provide admission in IIM for MBA so that you need to focus more on the entrance test and prepare hard with the help of any good coaching institute

    All the best

    HI

    Yes, they do.
each IIMs have different criteria for giving calls to the candidates meeting the percentile cut off set by them.
For example. IIM Shilong always give calls to those who have been consistent in there academic i.e atleast 80+% in 10th, 80+% in 12th and 80+% in graduation.
For other few they dont have a particular marks cut off but they assigned marks to 10th and 12th marks
    For example
If you have scored between 90-100% then you would get 5 points
If you have scored between 80-90% then you would get 4 points
If you have scored between 70-80% then you would get 3 points
If you have scored between 60-70% then you would get 2 points
If you have scored between 50-60% then you would get 1 points

    There are other components like

    1. 12th marks
    2. graduation marks
    3. work ex
    4. CAT score
    5. GD
    6. Personal Interview

A final merit is made and the top student is selected
