Re: Difference between MBA & PGDM?

    Hello Dear.

MBA means masterin bussiness administration and PGDM means post graduate in diploma and mangements,
Both the courses are of Master degree, and can be done only after getting graduation level of educations.
But here is some difference in Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and in Masters in Business Administration.

Masters in Business Administration is 2 year degree course in Business and Management in which student have to study about a particular field. And the fields are-->>

Finance,Hr,Mass communications,etc...and learn all the relevant subjects related to business and management.
Also Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration is 2 year Diploma course in this course also student learn about the business and management of company.

Most of the institutions provide PGDBA which is often consider as equivalent to Degree course, and it is very much related with MBA course.

For the job purpose PGDM is more better options than MBA because PGDM involves practical knowledge more than MBA programme, also the syllabus of PGDM covers the wide

range of applications for a company.

But in India both the courses are very much related and almost the values are same.

    Hope it helps you.

    Good Luck
