    Hi,

MBA(IT) and MBA(Operations) both are completely irrelevant. one is purely related to Information Technology Industry.it look after only that particular sector only.the candidates who are having good idea in IT they only suitable that course.

another one is operations, this is completely related to manufacturing industry. it serves production department in all the manufacturing units. where management student will look after production process in a systematic way.

You better to go with HR OR Marketing specilization, if you really decided to do MBA.

    hi friend,
MBA IT & MBA Operations are different. IN MBA Operations you learn more on the integration of the business , whereas in MBA IT & System you concentrate more on the software project management. MBA operations does include Software Project Management but with limited scope.
If you are from B.E COMPUTER and wish to do MBA systems you can choose institutes like IIIT , PUne or Banglore. But my opinion would be choose a full time course rather than corresspondance as MBA is all about communication for which you need interaction with your peers.

Re: Difference between MBA IT and MBA operational? Any more fields in MBA IT like Network, Software?

    Hello my dear friend,

Yes,MBA and Engineering both are different.Main difference here is in Engineering you will learn about how effectively you will work with engineering components ,but through MBA you will know how ,manage those components to make them to reach your company objectives and goals.Engineering make you to know all the aspects in the engineering but in management you can make all the aspects work properly according to the needs of the demand in the organization.MBA will get things done from others, this people having idea about all the fields and make all the people to work and make them to reach company targets in the prescribed time period.

MBA IT and MBA Operational management, both are different, Operational management is very helpful to the candidates who did their graduation in Mechanical engineering ,Chemical Engineering, Bio-technical engineering,Automobile engineering etc..but not for IT graduates.Because as a IT graduate you don''t know about the machines, you have an idea about computers and its programming.so for you people IT is the best specialization. With MBA IT specialization from top business schools then you can get good opportunities in top companies in to directly as Project Managers with huge packages.

Try to do MBA in IT from top business schools , where you will be having scope to get good opportunities with good packages. To get admission in to top business schools then you must qualify in CAT entrance test with more than 90 percentile then only you will be having chance to get admission in to those institutes.

    Top Business schools in India;

    1.Indian institute of management-Ahmadabad
    2.Indian institute of management-Luck now
    3.Indian institute of management-Kolkata
    4.Indian institute of management-Bangalore
    5.Indian school of Business-Hyderabad
    6.XLRI-Jamshedpur
    7.Faculty management studies
    8.Indian institute of management-Ghaziabad
    9.SP Jain institute of management
    10.Indian institute of management-Indore
