    hello friend

BA is just a general stream while B.Tech is a specialized stream nd that is the reason why there are a number of fields in enineering.

Though MBA can be joined after graduation in any stream but where the difference lies ??????
The answer is at the time of placements.

There are a no.of candidates striving for the limited seats and even if we consider the campus placements, there are about 120 seats so you see ,a single candidate has to fight with 119 students to get a job.

The survival of the fittest rule applies and those having something different will be selected.

So the combination of ENGINEERING and MBA will have the competitive edge and this combination will help the candidates to get high salaries comparatively.

    Thanks

    Hello My Dear Aspirant,

Yes,There is huge difference with the candidates who have done MBA With B.Tech and MBA with Normal BA Graduation.Even in the admission from the top business schools they will be given more preference to the the candidates who have done Engineering graduation. In the top business schools getting admission for normal graduates is very difficult. They will be given more preference to the engineering graduates that too who have done B.Tech from Reputed Engineering Colleges and Institutes.Of Course in the Interview procedure also Interviewer First give preference to the candidates who have done MBA with Engineering graduates.Obviously B.Tech+MBA will be offered High Package compare to BA+MBA.

    In My Opinion, Operations Management is the Best Specialization for Mechanical Engineering Candidates.In this field You will be having more scope to get good opportunities with operational management.Most Of the companies are in huge need for Management Graduates.So it is very easy to get opportunities with Operational Management Degree with Mechanical Engineering Course.You can choose following specializations also;

    -IT Management
    -Pharmaceutical Management
    -Hospital Management
    -Textile Management
    -Marketing Management
    -Logistics Management
    -International Business Management

    -Finance Management
    -Banking Management
    -Systems Management
    -Petroleum Management
    -Entertainment Management,

It would be inappropriate to compare the two ...B.Tech and an MBA is generally preferred by the organisations dealing in manufacturing and marketing processes ..........while MBA after a Simple BA is as good as the earlier combination except in the areas where the organisation is specifically looking for graduates with technical background along with the management skills...In Human REsource,Finace,Marketing and International business both the combinations stand an equal chance

after Mech.e you can either opt for MBA in CAD/CAM,Operations Management,Marketing,Industrial MAnagement ..you can also go for the traditionalf iels like finance,h.r or International Business

look... MBA is a profession oriented course!!!

Firstly to crack MBA you need to appear for some entrance tests like
    CAT
    CMAT
    MAT
    GMAT etc

all these tests are full of aptitude questions and numerical problems
engineers usually have good depth in mathematics compared to students of other streams...........so they shine in these ares and it becomes easy for them to crack the exam
Moreover at the time of Campussing even if you are a engineering students or any standard engineering college, you will be given much more preference than your counterparts from arts or any other streams!!!!!!!

Whereas in case of BA graduates.....they lack the depth in Mathematics and so it is quite hard for them to crack the paper of exams like CAT,MAT etc
hence there chance decreases in this aspects.......moreover they falls back in many respects compared to their engineering counterparts!!!!!

So it is quite obvious that you should go for B.Tech MBA,....not BA MBA
If possible try to do B. Tech from a government Owned College.......it will be a big boost to your career!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you have under stand the importance of B.TEch MBA now ........and it is also preferable to BA MBA ..!!!
if you have any more queries,,,,kindly re-post here...!!!

    GOODLUCK!!!!!!!!!!!
