First of all you have to clear yourself that in which field you want to go. MBA and MSW and MA in Sociology all are the different fields. Now, I have to tell you one by one for each. M.A. in Sociology and MSW i.e. Master in Social Work are the Arts degree. After that you cannot go for the corporate sector or Industrial sector for work. After that you have to go for the Teaching line. You have to do PhD after M.A. for college Lecturer or B.Ed. if you want to go for the teacher of primary or high school. If you want to go for the Lecturer posts then you have to go for UGC-NET exam. After passing it you are eligible for the PhD as well as Lecturer posts in the govt. university in India.

But if you will do MBA then it is seen that you want to go for the corporate sector or Industrial Area. Human Resource or HR is the field in which you have to go for the Staff selection process or staff related jobs for any company. In this area you have the managerial post in any company. M.A is the Acedemic degree and MBA is the professional and managerial degree, both are different. So, in which field you want to go i.e. in Teaching Line or In managerial posts it's your own choice. Best of luck.
