Assam Down Town university is the Private University situated in Assam. It is recognized with UGC i.e. University Grants Commission and govt. of Assam. If you want to go for MBA through this university then you can go. Any degree which is affiliated with UGC is valid all over India. Without UGC affiliation any university cannot offer or give any degree. If you want to see the affiliation of this university in UGC website, go to www.ugc.ac.in and click the QUICK LINK tab below left corner. Select Private university and then you will see the Lists of States and Click on Assam and you can see the name of this university.

Now if you want to go for MBA and also want to continue for job then you should go for the Correspondence MBA degree programme. But you have to see the affiliation of University in DEC also i.e. Distance Educational Council, For it you have to go to www.dec.ac.in and click on Recoginition related Information tab left in list. But if you are not in job then you can do Regular degree. The eligibility criteria for Assam Down Town University for regular MBA is Valid MAT score and Group Discussion and Interview. After passing MAT you will go for the GD and Interview conducted by university. Best of luck.
