    Details about IAS entrance exam after MBA?

    I m MBA student i want to appear in IAS .please sir give me information about the process of this exam

    Hello Friend,

    To be eligible for IAS exam should have a graduate degree in any subject from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

    Final year student are not eligible for IAS exam. If you have completed your graduation degree then you are eligible for IAS exam.

    This exam is conducted by UPSC in once in a year.

    The Selection Procedure For IAS :

    >>CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
    >>Civil Services Main Examination

    Age Requirements :

    >>Your Age should be between 21-30 years.
    >>Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

    Number Of Attempts:

    >>For General category the maximum number of attempts are 4.
    >>For OBC the maximum number of attempts are 7 .
    >>For SC/ST there is no limit on the number of attempts.

    IAS: Indian Administrative Service.

    UPSC will hold the IAS exam Every year.

    Eligibility for IAS:

    You must complete the graduation from any recognized university.

    And your age should in between 21.30 years.

    So after MBA you can go for IAS exam.......

    IAS Exam 2013

    Civil Services Mains is main and deciding phase of IAS exams conducted by UPSC. Each candidate needs to write subjective answers to multiple papers.

    Any degree holder from any recognized University in any discipline with any percentage is eligible provided he/she fulfills other UPSC eligibility criteria

    Degree final year students can appear
    Students who are in final year in 2012 can appear for UPSC CSAT 2013 if they can obtain their degree by July 2013.

    UPSC fills IAS, IPS and other central service potions by a three stage process
    1. CSAT
    2. Civil Services Mains
    3. IAS Interview

    IAS interview is the final phase of the UPSC IAS Exams.

    Definitely you can appear in the IAS examination.To become an IAS officer you have to apply for the civil service examination which is conducted by the UPSC.The examination is conducted once a year and only a graduates students can apply for the exam if you satisfy the other eligibility criteria for the exam.
    This examination completes in the following three stages:-

    => Preliminary. <=
    => Mains. <=
    => Interview. <=


    => You should be qualified in under graduation in any stream with a good percentile from recognized university .

    => Your age should be 21 to 30 years and relaxation relation period is given to the candidates like sc/sc candidate for 5years and obc candidate for 3 years and handicapped and widow candidate for 10 years .

    => general category students eligible to write the attempt for 4 times and obc and other backward candidates for 7 times and there is no limit of sc/st candidate .
