Re: Details about doing IAS after MBA?

    Hello Friend ,

IAS stand for Indian Administrative Service , which is conducted by UPSC every year to recruit aspirants for the several post like IAS,IPS,IFS,IES etc. In order to become IAS you have to sit for an UPSC exam , since you are a graduate student then no need to worry as you are eligible for this exam , the only thing that you have to remember is that your age should be within 28 years of age if you belong to General Category , whereas for SC/ST it is 33 years of age . There is also a limitation on number of attempts that is if you belong to General you have only 4 attempts, whereas for SC/ST it is unlimited and for OBCs it is 7 attempts.

After satisfying the above mention eligibility you have to face three stages that includes :-
    • prelims exam ,
    • Mains Exam,
    • Personal interview round .
clearing all the three stage will give an opportunity to work for our country . On the basis of your marks obtained in the above three stage you will be getting placement .

for further information regarding upcoming dates you can visit the official page of UPSC :- www.upsc.gov.in/

    Hope This Helps you ...
