You should go for correspondence MBA if you don’t wish to leave your job and apply for promotion in the same company ….part time MBA is also fine ,but the best is always the regular MBA ….

You can prepare for the MBA entrances by boosting up your aptitude, getting improved at your communication skills ,solve lots of questions on reasoning and finally be aware of the current issues!

Of course you can apply for lots of scholarships for studying abroad like Chevening, Charles Wallace, Commonwealth, The Dr. Manmohan Singh Scholarship and the De Souza Trust Goa scholarship.
Since you have some experience too ,I will suggest you to try for the Mansion House Scholarship Scheme which offers scholarships for students and young business executives from outside United Kingdom to study or to undertake training or work experience in the Financial Services Sector.
Besides this ,many of the colleges in Australia ,UK have scholarships for indian students, usually two scholarships per college ,you have to keep checking the websites of colleges you are interested in ,and fill up forms to appear for face to face or telephone interviews for applying scholarships….

    Decide wisely!

see doing correspondence, part time m.b.a is not good for your profile having done your masters and been working for 2 years in insurance sector.. you have very good profile for doing m.b.a go for full time pgdm/m.b.a that will help you in your future..go for CAT exam2013.. regarding doing mba abroad is concerned you should write gmat exam a good score of 800 above in gmat you will get admission in top b- schools abroad.. don't worry abt scholarship a good score will guide your needs also..gmat is entrance exam for nearly 1000 b-schools abroad .. all he best

    hi
hope you are doing good. Since you have 2 year of work ex, I would advice you to go full time MBA from any good college. At IIMs average work ex ranges between 1-3 yrs. So you fall under this range. The purpose for advising you to go full time MBA is you would be able to relate your two year experience with the management concepts. Also two year gap after graduation is not much. According to some expert, some work ex is required for MBA if you really want to learn the concept well. I wont advice for part time or correspondence MBA as it wont add any value to you. Full time MBA from good institute helps you work with other best minds of the country and help you develop your skills.

For MBA from abroad, appear for GMAT and try getting good score.

I would recommend you to do a full time post graduate diploma in management from one of the best business schools in India. There are institutes where the course modules are designed keeping in mind about the needs of global economy. So, instead of thinking too much, spend time to prepare yourself well so that you can get a chance to do a business management course from one of the top b schools in India. You will get what you want here only. So, for the time being keep aside your wish to do a management course from abroad.
