Re: Courses after MBA in Finance?

you could do either of two.

Chartered Accountancy and Cost and Management Accounting (ICWAI or CWA)are quite different from each other.

But doing any one of them will enhance your career prospectus.

Chartered Accountancy is a course which is more focus on auditing and on taxation and hence CA can advice company or any organization on tax compliance and on tax law.

Chartered Accountancy is a complete course as far as finance department of any organization/company is concern.

    where as

Cost and Management Accounting is course in which a student learn about cost effectiveness and reducing the cost of production of any organization/company hence

CMA is person who can actually become responsible for increasing the profit of the organization/company if works/learns well.

It is the course which is mostly focus on COST OF PRODUCTION and other related area of cost.

One thing is sure that both the course will enhance your career prospectus.

After completion of MBA in Finance you must be looking forward to get good job. But because of stiff competition from the CS,CA,ICWA you might be looking for further courses also.

The list of courses for which you can go for are:

    v CFP-Certified Financial Planner
    v CS OR CA course.

    Good Luck!!!
