    Hello,

The selection of any course is very tedious task and it requires a lot of groundwork to decide which way you should go for. MBA and MCA are two main streams which you can select based on your skills and interests. MBA is other extreme and MCA is other extreme. As you said that you are average at your programming. and you have completed your BCA and now it's your turn to go for MBA.

You have scope to pursue your MBA course. It's not that you have only option left with MBA. There is a wide scope for you to pursue various other courses. You can go for it. If you are keen to go for MBA, you can go for it with vested interests. Therefore, it's better for you to go away with interest of you.

There are various stream in the MBA field. I will give you a lot of specialization available. I'll list you the following :
    - MBA in HR
    - MBA in Marketing
    - MBA in Finance
    - MBA in IT
    - MBA in Systems
    - MBA in Operations

These are the options available before you to choose any stream based on your suitability and capability.

    Regards,

    Dear student,

As you have completed your BCA then you should go for MCA but you need to have one thing in mind that your strong competitor will be Soft ware engineers and you will have to gain subject knowledge at it's best to defeat your competitor.

    Hello Fahad

As you are from BCA background and an average student in programming and confused between the stream in which you can do your Post graduation thenI can suggest you that you should go for MBA only.

MBA is Masters degre in busness aministration and it helps to acquire administrating and managerial skills .

But as far as MCA is concerned,MCA stands for Masters of computer Applications. The main aim is on developing diverse types of application softwares rather than designing computer hardwares and system softwares. It is a three years programme with the eligibilty criteria of pursuing graduation in any computer related field such as B.C.A.

As far as post graduation after BCA is concerned,it is upto the personal interests of the student to choose between the various courses. If you want to pursue your career in sole computer related streams, you should join mca but if you want to acknowledge the basic managerial aspects and using the fundamentals of computers and management in your business or job ,you should give a try to mba.

As per my suggestion as you are having average understanding of programming ,you should not go for MCA and also B.Tech students are given preference to MCA students so it has less job opportunities.

    Rest depends on you.

    Thanks

    Hello

As you are from BCA and having less understanding of programming ,you should not go for MCA .

So the next option is MBA but for that you need to have the entrance test scores but you had not taken any of these so there is a bad news for you .

As taking entrance tests is a compulsion for the MBA aspirants without which no college will offer you the admission. So you have two options.

    1. You can either wait for the next year and take the tests and apply for the MBA seats.

    2. You can do POST GRADUATION DIPLOMAS IN MANAGEMENT .

    3. You can also join some job in this year and prepare for exams also and then take admission in the next year .

    4. You can join MCA only

    Decision is yours.

    Thanks
