After MBA in Finance, you can go for CA courses. CA is also a commerce related course and is known as chartered accountancy. This course is similar in approach just like MBA.
Here also you need to give separate entrance examinations, to be eligible for the CA course. The entrance examination is held twice in a year with around 6 months gap for each examination. The entrance examination is also called CPT or common proficiency test. This test is of objective type questions and obviously having negative marking for wrong answers. You would require a separate coaching to clear CPT. Otherwise you will have to go on and on in every year to clear the examination. Although there is no limitation in giving the examination, but there is not point in wasting years. The subjects covered by the tests are mercantile laws, accountancy, general economics etc. Once you clear the examination with more than 50% marks, now comes the tougher part, the CA course itself. CA course does not have unlimited time duration and is divided into two parts. On clearing each part with good scores in the respective examination only can you get to the next level. You have lots of commerce subjects in it, if you feel, then you take coaching in that section too, to clear the examination. So try and go for next year's CPT.
