    Dear friend

yes you can get the seat in good college but for this you have to given some exams like

    CAT,MAT,XAT,TANCET etc.

also you are eligible for all these exams so not take tension about this.
i think the branch suitable for you are--
MBA in MarketingMBA in Global management

Re: Chances of getting a seat in good institutes in India after completing Masters with percentage of 52.5 in B.Tech? Which is a suitable MBA stream for me?

    Dear Mr GS Srinivas,

It is suggested that, you select a specialisation of your MBA which will support your B.Tech Stream as well as your previously
undergone Sweden course in Ind. Mktg & Org Mgt.

In India the Credit Transfer System is yet to be fully formulated, since AIU-Association of Indian Universities is still working on
a standard policy system for all universities to enable transfer of credits earned by candidates both within India or US/Europe
and in any other country. This is a big system overhaul in Indian Education System since many universities are teaching in unified
method in teaching subjects viz. few are not even follow the credit base system for the syllabus. So what I feel that the 30 ECTS
(5 to 6 months of study) earned by you in Sweden may not be able to benefit you in India.

Firstly, you will have to apply to the Karlstad University, Sweden on a prescribed form for a credit earned transfer authorisation, so
that you can take the transfer to any of the Indian University. There are some rules also applicable for applying within time frame etc,
hence please approach that university of Sweden accordingly. After this when you come to India, you will have to apply separately to
    the University/Institute for necessary consideration.

As you have not exactly expressed your interested specialisation, but I suggest here you few MBA specialisations which would match
your Engineering streams and you can also take up when you do MBA in India. The details are:-

    Project Management
    Information Systems & Management
    Information Systems & Marketing
    Oil & Gas Management
    Information Technology Management
    Electronic Business
    Operations Management
    Entrepreneurship & Small Enterprise Management
    Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Marketing Management / Supply Chain Management

    MBA COURSE INSTITUTES IN INDIA:

Since you will be back to India after the course, also your eligibility for admission in to any MBA providing B-School will similar to the
applicability of any Indian Student. That means you will need to undergo an Entrance Test viz. CAT / GMAT / for state level colleges –CET.
So you can start preparing for any of those tests from now onwards as the competition is very high for getting an admission in to MBA Course in good B-School.

I advise you to take only CAT or GMAT or admission test conducted by B-School which you are interested. With valid CAT / GMAT Exam
scores you can join any of the good B-Schools providing MBA course like IIMs / IITs / NITs as well as XLRI-Jemshedpur, ISB-Hyderabad,
NMiMS-Hyderabad, XLRI-Hyderabad (XLRI Shortly would start a campus in Hyderabad too). My suggestion for you to compete either for
IIMs or XLRI/ISB/NMiMS, which would surely get you good job prospects.

If you have any other information to know please feel free to ask in this Forum.

    Best compliments…

No matter what your score is the only factor here in india is you have to score high enough in CAT/MAT/XAT etc. After that if you are able to get a call from IIMs your present qualifications may come into work. I think as you are already familiar with marketing it will be a good choice to expand your skills in this field further.
