Re: CAT or GATE after B.Tech.?

Dear there is no problem that you are a average student because the competition is almost similar for each and every category candidate and only those candidates gets qualified in the exam who are really interested in that subject and in the competition not those who afraid of competition so that you should see that where is your interest means if you are interested in engineering stream then you should go for GATE and get qualified and if you want to complete MBA after completing your B.Tech then you need to go for CAT or MAT because both of the streams has very much scope but i would like to say that you should prepare for GATE entrance test and after being qualified in GATE with high score, you would easily get the job in government sector and private sector also because there are about 12 different organizations under Indian government which accept the score of GATE test and hire fresh and new engineering executives in the organizations as - BHEL, IOCL, DDDA, NTPC, ONGC, BPCL etc. so that you should prepare for GATE and study hard.

    All the best

    Hello,

After your B.Tech you have the option to chose either CAT or GATE exams. Both are
very very tough exams in India.

CAT: CAT or Common Admission Test is conducted by the IIMs. It's a onle MBA entrance
test for MBA aspirants. A good CAT score between 99.4 to 99.9 percentile would give you
the chance to pursue MBA from IIMs.

GATE: GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is jointly conducted by IITs and IIS.
GATE is for those who want to pursue either M.E,M.Tech or PhD.

    Dear Friend ,

Sine you are an average student , its better to go for CAT i.e Common Aptitude Test.

GATE allows lot of interest towards the subject since it gives admission into M.Tech.

Its better yo to go for CAT and then do MBA .
You can rock in the MBA course.

Now a days most of the engineering graduates doing mba because it has its own importance.

The job opportunities are also more because you people have both technical skills and mba skills.

    All The Best..
