Well it is definitely right that ICET or Integrated Common Entrance Test is a common entrance test for MBA. It is also true that on clearing this you at least become eligible for first round of candidate selection. Mostly for second round of selection interviews and group discussions are taken. Now in this case the situation is different. Although the person concerned has passed in ICET he/she did not clear the graduation. Let me tell you that when the concerned person will called for enlisting in the respective university he/she applies, his/her graduation mark-sheet or its xerox will be called for. So it will be expected that there is not only no pending backlogs on the mark-sheet but also the total marks that is obtained is more than or equal to respective cut-off maintained by the university. Mostly universities take people with 50% and above, but some universities even maintain a strict criteria of 55% and above. So here is what I will suggest. It is best to continue the graduation right now. One should study and complete the pending backlogs. MBA has no age bar. So at any and every point MBA is a sure shot possibility. But only if the graduation is complete. Without graduation MBA application is not possible. But one issue here is that this ICET rank will not be valid for the next time when applied for MBA after graduation. So one has to sit for ICET again. But since it is necessary to complete B.Com to be eligible for MBA admission so there is no other way out.

    dear friend.
sorry to say that at the time of admission into mba you must have passed your graduation otherwise you will not be eligible for mba. first of all you have to complete your graduation then only you become eligible for mba, and you dont have to think about the icet because the validity of icet score card is 1 year.
so just concentrate on your backlog paper and clear it and join the mba.
    all the best.
