Amity University and Delhi University both are recognized with UGC but Delhi University has good rank in India and also in job sectors. Obviously DU students have good degree value in all sectors. So, if you have to choose between Amity university and Delhi University then you should have to choose Delhi University.

Amity University is a Private University in Uttar Pradesh. It had some problem in recognition with UGC. Amity University has no any recognition of AICTE. As per approval it says that Private universities need not to get AICTE approval. But Delhi University is a Central University. It has full recognition without any problem.

If you have to choose between Central University and Private University then you should choose Central university because it had good rank with no any problem in recognition. But in Private University you can see many Fake Private universities with fake degrees run in Market. If you want to go for the Distance learning then also you should choose Delhi University.

Also if you don't want to go for Delhi University for PhD admission or any course through distance learning then you can go IGNOU for this. IGNOU is also a central govt. university and has good rank in distance learning. You can choose Amity University as the last option if you have no any other options. Best of luck.
