    Dear Friend,

MBA and MCA is two different courses. MCA is usually done by B.S.C.IT students and MBA is mostly done by Management students.

MBA and MCA has equal impotance in today's world.

As you are doing BSC with Computer science, best option for you would be MBA but stream will depend on you.

However in order to do MBA Minimum Criteria is that you should score minimum of 50 percent of passing marks in Degree/graduation.

You need to give entrance exam and crack any one of CAT, MAT and CET entance exam with good percentile in order to get admission in Good/Reputed colleges.

    Best of luck!!

I would say that both are equally good. If you are more of a technology person, then MCA is your goal. If you want some business knowledge then MBA is best for you. Since you are B.Sc. Computer science, you will be more comfortable with C,C++ programming so MCA can be easier for you. I am quoting here part of the MCA syllabus so that you can have an idea as to what will be the scenario, when you join MCA.
MCA has discreet mathematics, Numerical Analysis, Finite Automata, Accountancy(depending upon the institute), Java. These are some of the main subjects that you will be having with your course. If you are comfortable with these then MCA can surely be your choice. Your next step should be then checking for advertisements for admissions in different institutes. Good Luck.

    MCA OR MBA

MBA AND MCA had good growth in market both depts are more or less equal ,basically you finished b.sc with computer science background .you want to gain more computer knowledge and skills .want to learn more programming skills , and algorithms do MCA ..because MCA is one of the programming application dept where as in mba not programming at all all about Business Organize .plans etc....

The package wise MBA dept gives ittle higher than MCA ..... also higher position

You feel bore on computer programming skills .you need some changes means !!! Blindly do MBA Learn new idea and Move towards this line !!!!

    Thanks
