    • there is not great demand for the msc graduates in the country because the various companies believe in recruiting the engineers and then training them for the jobs instead of going for the specialists who generally demand more salaries ,where as an MBA graduate is recruited like an hot cakes and are also considered far better in quality than the post graduates in students in terms of communication skills and also performance this is mainly because of the education system in India where there is not much care given to the sciences stream and the students who do these courses are mostly unemployed
    • the salaries that are offered to the msc students is not much more than the salaries given to an graduate engineer in the country and in some colleges like the Indian institute of technologies even the betch engineers get lot more than the msc graduates whereas an ,master of business administration graduate gets the best salaries in the country in which ever company they join .
    • even if you do an msc degree even then you have to work under an master of business administration professional because they are generally recruited as the managers in the various fields and the technical people are always put below an management person because its an general perception that the master of business administration students who are trained for doing the businesses have better sense of business and finance were as an sciences person is good for making only the technical decisions and they can not make the managerial decisions .
    • the msc graduates are only good for teaching jobs and they are mostly hired by the various institutes for this purpose ,so if you do not have interest in teaching then there is no point in doing an masc course ion this country because there is no chance that your value will be recognized
to get an good master of business administration college for doing your MBA degree its better to write the cat examination for which you need to prepare real hard and hence its best to join an coaching institute like the time institute for cat because its the best coaching center for the cat examination in the country

some of the best MBA colleges in the country are :
    INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENTS
    INDIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
    FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES
    INDIAN INSTITUTE OF FOREIGN TRADE

DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES ,IIT DELHI
    XLRI JAMSHEDPUR

    SYMBIOSIS INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT PUNE
SP JAIN SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT AND RESEARCH
INDIAN SCHOOL OF PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

some of the best colleges for doing the masc in the country are :
    INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGIES
    BENARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY
    OSMANIA UNIVERSITY
    UNIVERSITY OF HYDERABAD

    JHADAVPUR UNIVERSITY
    PUNE UNIVERSITY
    DELHI UNIVERSITY
    ANDHRA UNIVERSITY
    ALLAHABAD UNIVERSITY

MBA(finance) will be better as it offers much scope.

after completion in chemistry (honors) he will be eligible to take various entrance examinations
like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, IBSAT, and others for admmission to various colleges.

MBA coaching will definitley help you in your dream for doing mba.

      Dear friend,

If you are interested to o MBA then you have to qualify in exams like CAT, MAT, XAT e.t.c. All top B-schools give admission on the base of these exams. Students of any discipline can do MBA. There are several courses in MBA like

      MBA in Finance

      MBA in HR

      MBA in Retail

      MBA in IT

      MBA in Pharma

      MBA in CS e.t.c

So its all depends on you that in which sector you wants to do MBA.

      Dear Aspirant...

The truth is, it depends somewhat on what you want to do. Your question specifically asks which has more "scope", but still is a complex question to answer.
With a MSc you are more likely to head into a position as a Technician, Scientific Associate, or to continue on in graduate studies to get your PhD. MSc's often find themselves in a good position to take on a teaching position either at the high school or trade school level as well.

Neither of these is a bad option. It really depends more on what you want to do. With an MBA you are more likely looking at a job in Administration, Management, Marketing, or Sales. One word of caution, many biotech companies still prefer to hire people with PhDs for many of the upper level management positions, with the exception of some key very top positions (CEO, CFO). Of course, you are going to have to work your way up no matter what you do.
An MSc will give you more hands on experience but teaches you little of the business world. You will likely have a much broader background when you graduate but, you will mostly be qualified only to do further research (either as a technician or to go on to a PhD).
An MBA is a relatively new type of program that is growing in popularity. In some ways, you could say this program has "more scope" as it focuses not only on the science but also on the business side of things. The problem in many of these programs is that much of the science is taught from the theory point of view and not really from a practical sense. As such, people graduating with a MBA inare not necessarily qualified to work as researchers.

One other option of course is to do the MSc and then a separate MBA. This is the broadest scope of all and, far and away in my opinion, the most marketable

Dear friend,I suggest you not to shift from your stream as you are from chemistry background and should not try to go for Finance.

Finance field requires a great knowledge of finance fundamentals if someone wants to pursue a job in the finance field and as you are from a different field, you will face a lot of difficulties if you try to go for it .

Most of the students who opt for mba finance are from commerce background particularly from BBA or B.COM or atleast they have studied commerce in their 11th and 12th .So they face less difficluties in studying finance subjects.

So i suggest you to go for M.Sc or any other related field.
