MBA is a degree provided by university or university affiliated institutes.

AICTE recognised autonomous institutes give Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).Thus if you are going for a PGDM you must ensure that the institute is AICTE approved.

Both MBA and PGDM at the level of degree is equal .

THe important thing you must ensure is the college you are getting the degree,

You must try to find the reputation of the college in terms of faculty and placements.

You can investigate about a college by its students and its website.

You can look for the profiles of the faculty members of the particular institute on the institutes website and can have an understanding about the institute performance by looking into there work profile

and experience.

Hello Dear.MBA means masterin bussiness administration and PGDM means post graduate in diploma and mangements,Both the courses are of Master degree,and can be done only after getting graduation level of educations.But here is some difference in Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and in Masters in Business Administration.Masters in Business Administration is 2 year degree course in Business and Management in which student have to study about a particular field.And the fields are-->>Finance,Hr,Mass communications,etc...and learn all the relevant subjects related to business and management.Also Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration is 2 year Diploma course in this course also student learn about the business and management of company.Most of the institutions provide PGDBA which is often consider as equivalent to Degree course,and it is very much related with MBA course.For the job purpose PGDM is more better options than MBA because PGDM involves practical knowledge more than MBA programme,also the syllabus of PGDM covers the wide range of applications for a company.But in India both the courses are very much related and almost the values are same.Hope it helps you.Good Luck
