In which post you are working that will be important for the next degree or Master Degree. If you are now working in Technical Field and also you want to do MBA then you can do MBA in OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT. This is related to Production management and you will get Production Manager post in your company.

In this you will have to design and control the Process of Production which company made. Since you are an engineer so you can easily understand the nature of Product. This stream of MBA is specially designed for Engineering students or Staff related to Technical field.

If you are working in a IT sector then MBA in IT will be good for you. In this you can go for IT Manager post in your company. Also you can join Telecom Companies for your job.

So, You are working in what field that will help you to select MBA field or stream. If you don't want to leave your current job or company then you should do that stream in MBA which help you in your Promotion or higher rank.

You should not go for Finance, Marketing field because these are totally commercial field and you will have to get rid of your current position or Technical field in your company. Best of luck.
