    Dear friend,

It's all depend upon your interests. If you have a keen interest in MBA or management sector of the company then only you should opt for MBA.
Doing MCA is always better then doing MBA if you have have a good knowledge of basic languages like C,C++ and interest as well.

You could do MBA later if you think you need to do it when you are doing a job and looking for promotions and change of branch.

If you want to pursue MCA from a good college then you can appear in an entrance exam named PGCET.

You should take the famous entrances though like CAT,XAT,IIFT etc and if you are lucky to go through the IIM's or FMS or IIFT etc then you could go for MBA otherwise you should do MCA and wait for MBA.

You can enjoy following feature in MBA....
    1. Personality development
    2. Improve communication skill
    3. Good soft skill development
    4. Good Business skill
    5. Interview Skill development
    6.Good Management Skills
    7.Leadership Skills
    8.Problem Solving Skills
    9.Logical Thinking
    10.Listening Skills etc.

    With best wishes

Re: Which is best option between MBA and MCA in IT after BSc in computers?

MCA stands for Masters in Computer Applications while MBA stands for Masters in Business Administration.

Both are postgraduate degree and there is always a confusion in students on whether to go for MCA or MBA degree. You are not different to this common case.

I will like to assure you that both the courses has immense earning potential .So earning potential is nearly same and vastly increases with hard work and experience.

    My recommendation-

    1st part of your question
    -
I will like to advice you to go for MCA at present because with a B.Sc in Computer Science degree there is no good scope for development in the job market.

MCA will open new and better avenues for you.MCA is regarded as equivalent to B.Tech graduates

Then after MCA go for a job. This job will help you decide whether you really require an MBA degree for your career progression.
If then also your answer is yes for an MBA go for it.

I suggested you to go for job after MCA as it will have dual advantage-
    > It will help you for an easier entry into good B-Schools.
    > It will help you command fatter salaries even after MBA course

as in both the cases ,person with prior job experiences are preferred to than freshers.

    2nd part-

Go for MBA in traditional fields of Finance,HR, Marketing in future if you want to go for MBA.

If want to learn Management whats the need for going for MBA IT /MBA Systems.

MBA IT /MBA Systems are the courses for students with non-commerce for wanting to go in Computers Management field.

So, I would advice choose wisely.

    Good Luck

In my point of view MCA will be the good option to you. As per survey when compared to engineers,Arts and Science students only the graduates of MCA get job in their own field and enjoying their work. As you have the computer basics you can study MCA easily and shine well in that field.

    friend

MCA is best option after B.sc in computer because MCA is also computer related field

    Eligibility criteria for MCA :

    1.Academic qualification :
The candidate should have complete graduation with that particular stream.
The candidate should carry minimum 50% marks in that graduation

    2.Age factor :
The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years.
SC/ST/OBC candidate will get age relaxation

    All the best
