Dear first of all I would like to inform you that both courses are very good and provide enough scope in their particular field so you have to be logical at a moment because this is the time when you are going to get a big post graduate degree of your educational career that is very essential for jobs and placements in various Multinational Companies so stop for sometime and look in your previous academic record and analyze your interest in education

When you are already from Chemistry stream and have completed your bachelor's degree in Chemistry so there should be no problem in selecting M.Sc in chemistry because you will find out the same stream in your master's degree that will give you in depth knowledge of this subject which is mandatory for all and you will get proficiency in Chemistry which is required to be placed for good jobs and if your interest is to enter in education, Teaching and Research field then nothing is better than M.Sc Chemistry for you in your career because M.Sc will help you in gaining more details about particular subjects and you will be preferred for jobs so this will be a right option for you to climb at the next step

MBA is Master's degree in Management where your one year(two semesters) of the PG are dedicated only to management and business because at present everyone wants to get a good job and business & Corporate sector is ahead in providing more jobs because of the efforts of various foreign companies so management education and MBA has became very popular course and first choice of students so this is also a very good option for you. MBA will not provide you the same or separate specialization subject (Chemistry) at PG level because there is no specific major subject is available in MBA but there are some other allied subjects that can help you in opting for a right course that are - MBA in Biotechnology, MBA in Clinical Research, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, MBA in Hospitality etc. so everything based on your interest what you choose for PG

Both options are in front of you with explanation so you just have to take right decision and also see your goal that if you want more knowledge and good job (Mainly government) then you can go for M.Sc in Chemistry then research programs but if you think that you should be in a high paying job so go for MBA

    All the best

THE FUNDAMENTAL TO REMOVE THIS CONFUSION IS DECIDE that in which profile you would like to see yourself, in some chemical industry or as a manager or administrator.
When you will begoing to join any institution before that you must find out thatwhich is the university that are good in all important aspects suchas faculty profile, courses offered, curriculum and pedagogy, feestructure and scholarship, placements and international tie-ups. And then select the best one fulfilling all aspects. Some top universities of India likeLPU, GNDU and Amity are providing these courses.
