Re: Benefits to go for NET after B.Com. & MBA?

See NET or National Eligibility Test is not very beneficial. See this is done to get a chance in colleges for teaching purpose. You can do this also by going for PSC(or Public Service Examinations) examinations also. Today colleges want people from NET or Ph.D. genre as their teachers. But the benefit of NET that is over PSC is that it helps to get an admission in Ph.D. course. You can study JRF(Junior Fellowship Course) courses if you clear NET with a valid marks. Although having said this, you will not get a direct admission in Ph.D. degree or in college teaching after you clear NET. You have to pass through another round of interview, to be eligible for any of this. So if you clear NET and that interview round, then you can join as a full time teacher in a college or a full time Ph.D. Scholar(getting a monthly stipend from government for this).
Now all this discussion depends on a fact, whether you want to go for research studies or teaching genre or not. If not, then NET will not help you. Instead you can directly go for management jobs in any top level MNCs like IBM or CTS etc. For such business oriented jobs, go to www.cooalavenues.com.

    Hello Friend ,

In order to sit for NET exam in any discipline you must complete your Maters' first with minimum 55 % for General category and 50 % for SC/ST category . This is the basic eligibility for NET exam and there is an age limit also that is your age must be within 35 years , then only you will be to give NET exam and get a job in teaching profession .

So if you are really interested in giving NET exam you have to do your Masters' from recognized college/ universities .
