    Is B.Tech. marks considered for getting admission in IIM for MBA?

    i have an aggregate of 56% in my b-tech, if i score good in CAT will i be eligeble for IIM.i.e;is my b-tech % considered for getting an admission in IIM's

    Hi

    As per eligiblity criteria
    1. You need to have a graduation degree from UGC approved college
    2. You should have minimum 50% marks in graduation
    3. 45% for reserved category

    So you are very much eligible for CAT.
    For getting admission in IIMs
    Apart from CAT score and your GD/PI score you are also evaluated on the basis of your

    1. work ex
    2. 10th marks
    3. 12th marks
    4. extra curriculum
    5. graduation marks

    Since final admission has some weightage for graduation, so this marks is important.
    Do well in other component to increase your over all marks and over all weightage.
