    Dear friend,

You are surely eligible for PhD in commerce, since you have completed your UGC NET exam.

It will be helpful, if your 1st and 2nd UGC NET exams, had economics as a major.

    Thank you.

Dear friend ,yes, you are eligible for Phd.If you want to go for a Phd course in future then its better course for you.The reason is that you will get more exposure to technical studies by doing PHd.So in my opinion if you interested in Phd then its better and go for it.Good luck!

    .

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conduct twice time in year by UGC.This test will be conduct for only lectureship , PHD and JRF .

Sorry to say that you are not applicable commerce stream if you have degree in commerce from commerce then you are applicable.

But you are applicable in NET exam in Management department.

If you have masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam but their is also some marks criteria. For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55% above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

There is no specific age criteria for PHD course. But your age should be below 28 years old for JRF candidate.

NET Exam date for June session Already over .So you can wait for notification for NEXT notification.
