    Am I eligible for NET after doing MBA but UG B.com as correspondence mode?

    I have comleted in MBA from Engoneering College but UG B.COM is correspondence mode I am qualified in NET EXAM

    CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY :

    i)

    Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masterís Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masterís degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

    ii)

    Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Masterís degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of JRF/Lectureship eligibility only after they have passed their Masterís degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PH/VH category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P.G. degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.

    iii)

    The Ph.D. degree holders whose Masterís level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in NET.

    iv)

    Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects in item No. 9, may appear in a related subject.

    v)

    Candidates seeking concession in fee are required to submit attested copy of their OBC(Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PH/VH certificate along with online printout of their Application Forms (obtained while applying on-line). Other candidates are not required to submit any certificates/documents in support of their eligibility alongwith printout of their Application Form. Therefore, the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test. In the event of any ineligibility being detected by the Commission at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

    vi)

    Candidates with post-graduate diploma/certificate course(s), should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their course(s) with Masterís degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. (www.aiuweb.org)

    The eligibility criteria for NET is as follows:

    If your B.Com through correspondence mode is under the recognition of UGC, you are eligible for NET exam.
    Your age should not be more than 28 years while appearing for the exam. The fee for NET is Rs.450/-.

    You are eligible for appearing NET exam UGC


    UGC states Three conditions for NET exam eligibility:
    1. You must have 55% marks in PG level ( since you have got first class)
    2. Your university/College must be a recognized one ( pl.check out)
    3. Your age limit should be not more than 28 years


    NET exams are conducted Twice each year, in June and in December




    Qualification Criteria for NET exam
    The candidates must have completed Post Graduation in the desired subject.
    They must have secured Masterís Degree with a minimum of 55% from any reputed college under UGC recognition.
    The candidates appearing for last semester exam can even attend NET exam.
    Thirty Five years is the maximum age limit.
    There is relaxation of 3 years OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.


    Application Procedure for NET exam
    The candidates have to apply online before the specific date announced by UGC. print outs of filled in online application form, exam attendance slip and admission card at the respective centers (with fee receipt and category certificate(s) are the documents required for applying to this exam.

    Dear Guest your eligible for NET. NET mainly qualification for master degree and i given some other useful details below.

    So, I Suggest you prepare MAT Examination well and score good percentage of marks in MAT Examination then definitely you may get admission for MBA Course in reputed Colleges .

    NET stands for National Eligibility Test and this Examination is organized by the UGC University Grands Commission . This Examination is held twice in a year . The Candidate who aspiring to apply for P.hd course are Lecturer job then the candidate should qualified in NET Examination
    The Important Notification for this Examination are published in Employment news papers and official website of UGC ( University Grants Commission ) .
