    HI,

Sorry, You are not eligible to appear in any MBA entrance test. because you did not fulfill the eligibility.

Eligibility Criteria for getting admission in MBA

A candidate who want to do MBA from regular Institution he is just require to have minimum 50% marks in his bachelor from any AICTE/UGC Approved college & university.

A 5% Rebate for reserve category candidates.

But you have just 40% marks in your Bachelor, and after rebate a candidate require to have minimum 45% marks in his graduation.

If you want to get admission in MBA programme you have just one option that to get admission in Distance learning MBA college like:-

Its Sorry to inform you that you can not appear in this course.MAT is an entrance examination by which you can only get the MBA college. But as to be eligible for this one must have to graduate from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in the Graduation aggregate. And there is relaxation only by the 5%.
As you are telling that you have got 40% marks in your B.com aggregate, So dear aspirant you can not appear in the MAT examination as well as you can not appear in the MBA course.

Re: Am i eligible to get admission in MBA college after writing MAT exam? What are the option to do after completing B.Com?

YES, you are eligible for MAT exam .

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for admission for most of the top B-schools for MBA since you do not have 50% in graduation. But some not so reputed college will surely allow you for MBA programme.

MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test is a national level entrance test for admission in MBA courses in many institutes of India.

Eligibility criteria for MAT exam -

A candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university or a deemed university.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelorís degree and are awaiting results can also apply.

    My recommendation-

You can go for many other courses other than MBA after graduation.

    Professional courses
    -

    >Hotel Management>MBE
    >Masters in Finance Control
    >CFA
    >CPA
    >ACCA
    >Certification courses in Shares and stocks

    Commerce field
    -

    >Chartered Accountancy
    >Company Secretaryship
    >Cost Management Accountancy

    Science field -

    >Masters in Computer Applications
    >Actuarial Science

    Arts field
    -

    >Visuals and Performing Arts
    >Psychology
    >Political Science

    Vocational courses
    -
    >Fashion Designing
    >Interior Designing
    > Hardware and Networking courses
    >Automobile engg.
    >ITI

I have mentioned only a small chunk of courses and profession available. There are many other such courses available.

Most of the courses mentioned above requires just pass marks in Graduation as eligibility.
So do not fret pursue the course which you feel more comfortable but with dedication.

    Good Luck

Re: Am i eligible to get admission in MBA college after writing MAT exam? What are the option to do after completing B.Com?

    HI,

It is not possible to get admission in MBA full time programme by this low percentage as per the eligibility criteria :-

A candidate who want to get admission in MBA college he/she must need to have minimum 50% marks in his bachelor.

A final year and Result awaited candidate may also apply for the programme but thy have to submit their bachelor completion documents at the time of admission or may couselling.

As oyu have very low percentage you are not eligible to get admission in any MBA college.

but you can do part time or distance learning mBA

as their is just require to have passing % in your bachelor and there is no age limit and entrance test require to get admission.

Check out some Part time MBA colleges below in which you can get admission.

    MDI rohtak
    IMT Ghaziabad
    Sikkim Manipal
    Symbiosis Distance learning
    Anna university
    Amity Distance MBA
    FMS Delhi
    IIM Ahmedabad

    Good Luck!
