You can appear in the CAT examination.Basically cat is an entrance examination to take he admission in top and good colleges of Management in India. For appearing in this examination There is no matter whether you are CA or not.
But for appearing in this examination one must be graduate from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks. However if you are the final year student of Graduation course then also you can apply for this examination..

    !!All the Best!!

    Hi
You can appear for CAT exam since you have passed your CA exam. Try for IIMs, IIM try to diversify its batch. So CA has upper hand getting selected. Also since CA have good knowledge of finance, they get short list from many banks. Appear for CFA (if you have not appeared so far) to have upper hand in placement as well.

    Hi

You can appear for CAT. and being from CA background you have upper hand.
    Often you have following advantages

    1. Being from CA background your knowledge about finance is very sound
    2. IIM look for diversified batch, so CA has upper hand
coz in my college there are just 9 CA out of 400

    all the best
