    HI..if you are from an it background then i think it would be better to go for an mba in the it field ,but still the final decision lies with you and also depends on your liking for the subject,if you are interested in human resource then there is nothing wrong in going for it ,any ways you will be having equal growth chances in both the fields ,so there is no need to worry just go for the one which you like .
    as far as the preference for part time and full time courses are concerned there is no doubt that the clear winner is the full time mba course ,the industry also prefers the full time students you can know it easily when you see the difference in pay of the part time and full time students when they get an job ,
    i am listing some of the mba colleges from mumbai wher you ca do your mba from :

    well my dear,most of the students will prefer full time course than part time MBA.Because companies are looking full time candidates. they don't give chances to the candidates who did their MBA in part time.In part time courses they won't learn anything and don't have practicle knowledge on case studies.

    coming to your question, you better to go for MBA in IT or systems, these two courses will help you a lot than remaining. after completion of your courses you will be placed big software companies like GOOGLE,TCS,INFOSYS,WIPRO,CTS etc..., they are in need of people like you, who did their MBA with IT specialization.they will give more preference to you than other branches.

    >>The List of Colleges in Mumbai offering Part Time MBA course are;

    1.Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS)
    2.National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE)
    3.Shailesh Mehta school of Management,IIT Powai (I I T B)
    4.S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR)
    5.Tata Institite of Social Sciences (TISS)
    6.Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS)
    7.K.J Somaiya Institute for Management Studies and Research
    8.Prin. L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research
    9.S.I.E.S College of Management Studies
    10.Chetana's R.K Institute of Management and Research

    hope i cleared your doubt.
