Re: Admission process in B-schools after cat exam?

    Hello dear

Depending upon the percentile given in entrance exam we are allotted to get seat in Top B schools

we should complete graduation with aggregate of 50%

    for sc/st it is 45%

we can do graduation in any stream as our wish in any recognized university of center or state

Then only we are permitted to get college seat in mBA course

we have to write entrance test to get Top B Schools

the various types of entrance tests are:

    CAT

    MAT

    CMAT

    XAT

    GMAT

    SNAP

    TISS

    TANCET

    ATMA

    JFET

    etc

Basing upon the percentile they will give you in the mark card you are allotted to do your MBA course in that B school

work experience also they take into consideration if you have any

But basically they will see your communication and managerial skills while they want to test you in interview.

    Best of luck............

Re: Admission process in B-schools after cat exam?

    Hello,
See, after you have given your CAT exam your first process of getting into a good B-School is complete. later, after you have got the results and you have scored a good percentile. B-Schools will short-list your name and you will be called for a Group Discussion (GD) session. after you get through this session you will have a Personal Interview (PI) session. if you are talking about IIM's they have recently introduced a new session which you'll have to go through before your GD and PI. It's called Written Ability Test (WAT). So, be prepared!
    Good Luck!
