If you seriously want to get admission in any branch of IIM without any problem and estoppel in your way then you should have following eligibility

Minimum 80% marks in class 10th and 12th in any stream from a reputed university or institute

Minimum 80% marks in Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent

Minimum 80% marks in Post Graduation or Master's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university

Minimum 98% marks in CAT Entrance Examination lastly conducted by IIM for further admission

Minimum 2 year of working experience in any field or company or organization with certificate

Should have good communication and technical skills and your performance should be better than that of all others while facing personal interview process and group discussion so they will check everything in yours then you will find yourself in IIM pursuing MBA

You have good percentage marks in class 10th and 12h but less in graduation despite you should not worry and just apply for entrance exam and try to secure highest percentage marks and if you once get more than 98% marks then there is no problem about percentage marks of graduation and you will get admission because entrance exam percentage will give you eligibility to proceed further in admission process and make you eligible for admission so everything depends on entrance test

Important Dates for CAT 2014 : You can apply for this examination before 24th of September 2013 and examination will be started from 16th of October to 11th of November 2013

    All the best

Yes of course you can go for IIM. You have good marks in Graduation and You can have a chance to go for IIM. After MBA in Campus Selection you will have chance to get good job because of your good marks from 10th to Graduation.

You have to give the entrance exam of CAT for IIM. The eligibility criteria for CAT is 50% and above marks in Graduation from a recognized university. But you have to get good marks in CAT too for getting enter in IIM for admission.

CAT is an online exam. You have to get good percentile for IIM. After completing CAT exam you have to apply for MBA in IIM through your CAT grade card and Graduation Marks Sheet. If IIM select you then they will call you.

They will call you for Group Discussions and Interview test conducted by IIM. You have to get good marks in these exams also. After then if you will come in the Merit list then you will get admission in IIM. Best of luck.

Re: Admission in IIM with 60% in graduation?

    Hello my dear Friend

You have a Very Good Percentage in your Academics

Coming to your issue If you are interested to join in to the IIM 's you must complete the Graduation with Minimum 50% of marks from a Recognized university

That to you have Study the 10+2 with 2 years before Graduation

Otherwise the Students will not be Eligible for the IIM;s

All Most all IIM's usually taken the " CAT score " for better Specializations

Or else you can also write the Various Entrance exams but you will not get the Required Specializations

So You must prepare well for the CAT Examination

Not only IIM's you can also enter in to the Various Private Institutions as well

More over Final year students can also eligible to apply for the Various Exams

After scored the Marks in CAT you will be shortlisted According to your score for the Next levels

There will be G D and Interview after you will be shortlisted for the further levels

    That is all

    Good luck
